Very Nice! Are you gonna paint the eyes black or do you leave it like that? Not criticizing, just curious.

as is.

canvasback eyes are red with black pupils which is easily suggested in a simple antiquing technique i read about not too long ago. little brown base, bit of red and black splattered over that does enough to suggest a canvasback eye OR a rusted out old decoy eye to suit my taste.

by the time they notice the eyes, i will be missing the bird....

Get it up here. I saw a group of about 25 cans yesterday with 13 Bulls, 2 young males, and the rest hens.
