I heard a guy ask his buddy the other morning "hey you got any face paint in your bag?" the guy replied "yea two brand new tubes". I wonder if it was official Duck Commander brand face paint?

Why do all the duck south guys hate on face paint? Just wondering.

I have been duck hunting for 17 years. I absolutely hate wearing a mask, and face paint works! But, don't worry y'all won't see me in face paint in your state. :D
I hunt in AR.

Me too, but you can't grow facial hair on your cheeks. Your face glows like a Christmas tree if it's not covered with something. I have just always wondered why everyone on this site hates on face paint. Granted, many young (and old alike) waterfowlers try to impersonate the duck commander. But, face paint does work.

They just all think it's cool to not be cool. Bunch of grouchy ole lady men. If someone comes out next year and says waders are the cool thing you'll see them all in boxers. You'll find if you stay around here long enough that this group normally finds one or two things every year to focus on and it's "katie bar the door" till they get finsihed with it and move on to the next thing.
Window decals
face paint
Bucket headed labs
the list goes on

I think one of the biggest issues folks have with face paint is not washing it off when you leave the duck hole. Pretty funny seeing ninjas (riding around town, in restaurants, in grocery stores, in wal-mart etc....) with paint still on their face at lunch time when they have been out of the woods for a couple of hours already. Not sure why they do that but anyone who leaves it on their face all day deserves all the ribbing they get.

If you were gloves while hunting, just hold a hand over your face and peek through your fingers while working birds. Thats what i do and it works like a charm. Plus no face mask, no paint on my face to clean off before lunch.
