Okay so I thought LSU played a pretty clean game even with my purple and gold glasses on. What was Petrino so mad about at the end of the game where he wouldn't even talk to Miles? I won't say poor sportsmanship on his part yet, as I would like to know what Arkansas is saying behind closed doors.

I hope there is some reason as if not it was pretty poor sportsmanship.

according to the announcer he was upset when Miles kicked the field goal at the end claiming that he was just running up the score. Announcer was saying he was doing it to get more points on the board for a cushion just in case he lost to Ga in the SEC game, it would still assure him a spot into the Championship game..

I actually thought it was a good move. By that point it appeared LSU had worn Arkansas down and I am not sure they could have stopped a run on fourth down. I don't get it? If this is in fact the case and it's what I have been hearing, how many points did Arkansas score against MSU last week? Against the rent a win teams this year?

The last thing I would ever call Les Miles is a coach that likes to run the score up before this year if a LM team scored 30 points it was a great day.

He was getting "style points". Who blames him as it could come down to a vote if LSU loses to Georgia. So now he beat Ark worse than Bama did. But if they lose to Georgia........ voters tend to remember what you do NOW. STill could get ugly. Alabama is sitting pretty barring a catastrophie to Auburn today.

Never understood the running up the score argument once you get above little league. Its like it gives the team that had their booty whooped something to call attention to besides the fact they got their booty whooped. Total b!tch move by Petrino added to cheap shot hit on punt against Vandy....Hogs have the two least classy moves in the SEC this year.

he is a sore loser no doubt.. the woman said it best at halftime when she ask him something like " what would he say to encourage his players at halftime, knowing that they were a fragile and emotional team, to come out fighting?? in my opinion.. his facial expressions speak for him.. it looked to me the moment he got behind on the board .. he had a look that he was beaten.. i'm sure that effects players too. arkansas has a good team no doubt.. they just ain't near as physical as LSU. that was the first game ever i was pulling for LSU.. just because i cant wait to see alabama whoop that booty at the big show! either way it should be a hell of a game

I hope its not Alabama playing LSU in the nat'l title game….. Id rather see LSU, Alabama, and Ark each whip a non conference team.
