I am an erosion control contractor and pretty much have been spraying army worms from Brookhaven to Corinth, and from Greenville to Columbus... They are killing me on the young and tender bermuda grass. Better get your spray rigs out.... They absolutely love millet in its first 14 to 21 days. I quit planting millet in my holes for that same reason. Be ready to hit'm about every seven to ten days if the weather stays dry..

Cypermethrin....
I dont know of anything that would have a residual and kill army worms. May be a product out there, but I bet its super high cost per acre.

baythroid is about the best but not much residual. Spray at a rate of 1 to 60. Watch closely! They can ruin a stand of millet in just a matter of days! Bout 340 a gallon though. Trimax also works pretty good and does have a little residual but not much. Leverage works pretty good if not to infested. Different rates but at 1 to 30 the cost is about the same.
