Dog Food ?
I feed my dogs Nutro Max large breed, and I have think they are very healthy with this food. What do y'all feed your dogs and what advantages do you find with that brand?

i've fed Haley science diet since i got her. I'm no expert, but she does great on it, lots of energy, plus all the good stuff for her. The only thing i kind of have against it is her coat isn't as shiny as i'd like it to be. I've been thinking about swapping to Pro Plan premium performance, but not sure yet. The cost is there either way. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

I have been feeding a new dog food made by jerry Moore of Circle J kennels. Call extreme dog fuel. I on it for about 6 months, it's is the best I've tried. $20 for 40 lb's but it's good.

Yes, they can be. You can have them allergy tested at your vet to find out. I believe that would be on the "extended test" that looks at pretty much everything that they can/would be allergic to.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Purina Pro Plan performance. Everytime I think about swapping foods, or try another food, the only reason is cost. Well, I simply can't bring myself to skimp on food for animals I ask that kind of work from. We train year round, so we use performance yearround. Purina is also a national sponsor of hrc events, and we receive bags of proplan at every hunt test. They think enough of hrc to send out 182 TONS of dog food last year to hrc events, make the best dog food going, and back it up with no worries about quailty control issues like some small manufacters or foods that are subbed out. Never hear about anyone getting a bad batch of pro plan do you? I haven't. Its costly, in fact its on of the highest priced foods I could buy. But when I look at my suppliers buy 10 get 1 bag free plan, and the addational bags I get thru the hunt test program, I can stomach the cost. And I know my dogs can stomach the food. Just not nuff savings there for me to go with cut rate foods. travis

diamond
Anybody feed diamond? I am having a hard time getting proplan here but I can get Diamond easily. I have fed my grown dogs diamond for several months and I have been happy with it. Puppy is on Pro plan- I guess I'll stick with it but I can't find it closer than Jackson.
