I'm looking for a good heavy barrel or square type grill. Charcoal of course. The ones they sell at Wally world and
home depot are too thin and won't last more than a yr or two. I'm not looking for a huge one, about the size of the
ones you buy at home deopot, but made out of thicker metal. Anyone know where I might get my hands on one in N Ms?

If i were going to get one, i would get duckaholic to ship me one of his bayou classics. I saw them in his store a few weeks ago and they are WELL built. Just my opinion.

Find you one of the wrought iron places that welds all sorts of things. Most of them make grills as well. I know the guy at Delta Security Doors North of Cleveland can. They make some pretty heavy guage fire pits. They did tell me, though, that it's getting harder and harder to find the thicker metals........so you better get on the ball.

I know what you're talking about but I'm not sure where to get anything like that. If you're ever in the Memphis area you might check "The Fireplace Shop" (I think) on Summer Ave.
I have had this one that came from Lowe's for over seven years, and it is holding up very well.

If your ever around Cleveland stop at Delta Security Doors on the north end of town on 61. Ive got one of his grills and it sounds exactly like what you need. He welds them in the winter mostly when the door business is slow. I'd call to make sure he has one before making the trip. Mine is about 3 feet wide and weighs several hundred pounds. I bought it used off a guy cheap but the new ones are about $300 i think.

I've got this for sale in Batesville. It is a bayou classic from THE DUCKAHOLIC.

I'd love to have that one, but not looking at spending that much for one. I'm getting it for my parents, and it doesn't have to be really
large in size. They just cook for the two of them a couple times a week and wanted to get them a good grill that will hold up to cooking
and the weather. Lilham if yours is in good shape I could probably go $300 but that would be more than what I want to spend on one so
I sure can't spend $500+

That is the bottom price on mine.

If they are going to be cooking for just them, Lodge Logic makes a really good habachi type grill that is made out of heavy cast. It only takes a couple handfuls of charcoal to cook with. I cook mostly steaks and pork chops on mine, but it works good for hamburgers, hot dogs, and such. I've also cooked fish and shisk kabob on it.I bought mine at Academy Sports for, 80 bucks, but I've seen them elsewhere for around 120 if you don't get by there much.
