ADS: Destin, FL fishing charter

Need some recommendations for 6 adults and my 6 yr old. Want to do at least a half day, maybe/probably longer. I've never been but everyone else has so I am going at it blind here. Who should we go with for the best rates/experience? What should we expect to pay per person? What kind of fish should we go after for the most fun/action? Thanks in advance, T-minus 8 days until my 9 day FL bender. First vacation in 7 years, time to blow off some steam!!!

Our trip was $250.00 per person for a 10 hour trip. Rates are by the number of hours you are out.

As far as the fish you catch, they have their hot spots marked via GPS and the longer the trip, the further you go out, so further out usually includes some different species. By the way, don't try taking your own GPS, plaque on the boat said it was against the law to have aboard.

First thing in the morning you catch your bait fish then head out to open water.

Have a blast and don't forget the sea sickness pills. Once out, they do not come back to shore.

Just-in-Time, Chip is the captain. His boat isn't the nicest in the fleet, but he will flat out put you on the fish. I had a friend that went out with Tommy Browning's outfit and he told them that he had fished with Chip before....they asked why he was out with them. They said chip catches more fish, consistently, than anyone out there. I have been with him 3-4 times and absolutely loved it. His number is 850-837-2930. He probably doesnt remember me, so name dropping aint gonna work. Havent been down there in at least 5 years. If you want to catch a certain species, let him know. He is up for whatever.

Finest Kind, Capt. Tommy Browning. I have fished with him for the past 8 years. We have caught fish every time. I doubt he will have an opening so close to your trip though.
