Long story, but on Monday, JrBroker is having surgery to remove a brain tumor. The tumor has caused seizures which have kept him from being able to to hunt the last couple of years. He needs some encouragement, so that's where I hope you will help out. I think it would thrill him to get postcards or short notes from you guys. I know this is asking allot, but please take a minute to drop him a note - if you don't mind. He is not too thrilled with the thought of surgery to his brain. I am sure you can imagine how a 22 year-old feels about having this done...
Neuro Surgeon is expecting the surgery to stop his seizures. And if all goes well, we will have 4-5 days in the hospital and another 2 weeks at home. After that, he should be good-to-go. He is not expected to need physical therapy... So in the fall, he might be able to get back into a duck blind - without the fear of having a seizure and drowning. And right now, plans are for him to be at Ole Miss in the fall.
