Rare kill

A shotgun shell hull! Had been there a while too. On the second pic, the right side bout half way down, you can see where it has worn into his beak!

What are you doing posting that pic??!! Now the feds are going to require a return to paper shells..... steel paper shells..... great.

Folks will do anything to say they killed a banded duck :mrgreen:

My grandfather had a cow that was getting sick, wouldn't eat or drink and finally died. Vet came out and gave it a once over and found that it had a shotgun shell over a tooth and it had abcessed (sp.). Ever time she ate are drank it hurt like Hell and she finally got septic. He never would let anybody but famly hunt from then on and was real particular that we pick up our hulls.

Definitely not a joke, and yes, my buddy that killed it, is mounting it.
