does that mean you couldn't see your pin :?: :D

May go try him again this afternoon. Maybe he'll come out earlier in this cloudy weather.

something like that. I could see my pin and see the deer, but he was just a black oval. I couldnt see his shoulder. Had he followed the same trail as the 8 point he had been following, there was plenty of light to shoot him at that 15 yard spot. I wouldv'e had to look at my phone to see what time it was :D

Yeah the close encounters is what makes me want to kill him so bad. HE's a stud mature deer for sure. Nice rack, but its his age and big body that makes me want him. I got younger deer that will score just as much or more, but I want him. Plus I like hunting a deer once it gets personal like this. Me vs. him

for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day
and THAT is a duck hunt.

Didn't see him this afternoon. Did hear 4 extremely loud buck roars about 100-200 yards away. Had to be him. I've never heard that in MS.

I moved my lock on about ten yards closer to the fence crossing, should be on next time he comes through. Should give me a 20-25 broadside or slightly quartering away shot. I can deal with the north wind coming up, but not a northwest one and am a little weary of a west wind.

Couldn't go yesterday. Went this morning and no sign of him. Saw his 8 point buddy and a few other small bucks. Maybe this afternoon.

Sneaker done heard rumors from mulitple sources of a giant on the other side of property and he's lost all focus on this deer. Last I heard he bought bass pro out of Swamp Donkey and deer piss and put up 10 cameras in a 100 acre area trying to spot him. He texted me last night monkeyed up a tree, standing in the fork again. The boy done lost it...

I've made a couple hunts for him since my last update, but haven't seen him. I stood in a fork the last 2 days hoping to killl a big 6 point a few people have seen.

Chopper is right. Someone who did some work at the camp told me about a deer that blew his mind. I'm trying to find him now. The guy may not totally know what he's talking about, but I'll just say that from what he told me I'm willing to burn a few days looking for him. Who knows though, I may go try for the 8 pt again this afternoon. I feel obligated to kill him now.
