Anyone using the Samsung Galaxy S?

Swapping over from att to cellular south and trying to decide between it and the HTC Desire. I have had an iphone for awhile so I hope I'm not going to regret it.

Just tired of att and coverage in my area.

My buddy has one and it blows the Hero out of the water. This guy buys new phones every other month and he says he is going to keep this one.

My wife just got one this week and we are learing together. Very big step up from her old phone. I think it is very similar to the I-phone from what I have been told. Salesman at Csouth told me that Samsung made the first few I-phones and then wanted to make more money so they broke their contract with ATT and is selling the Galaxy to several carriers.

Seems great so far.

got it last week it is fine it will mow your yard for you I even downloaded an app to score deer if I can just find an app to get it to take up decoys!

I love mine! Big screen, fast processor, lots of storage. Seems pretty user friendly to me.

How easy is it to type/text on the galaxy its tough on the hero especially if you got bear paws like mine.

they have the swpe technology. You just slide your fingers across the letters and never pick your finger up. kinda cool.

Never had a smartphone until last week. I switched to cell south and got the Desire been impressed with it so far. Battery sucks (last for about 12 hours) but I guess thats to be expected with a smart phone.

Got a Hero and hate it. Have had it almost a year and it still takes me forever to type a text message.

Hero sucks, Desire is good except it has piss poor battery life and the csouth rep told me that, the galaxy is as good or better than the iphone, easy to type on IMO
