Game Camera Battery Hookup

How do you hook up a game camera to a larger battery (lawnmower, car, etc.) without ruining the camera and without opening the insides up to moisture? If you have how-to pics of this that would be really great. I'm a little slow when it comes to these things.

buy a stealth cam and go to radio shack get the proper plug and hook that baby to a car battery. i done that to mine over a month ago and its still a charged mofo. i have the battery behind the tree in a storage box from walmart. i have a total of 25 maybe in the whole setup. i got a core from work too. it wont start a car but it will power up a trail camera
