I use "load-a-pup" HD dog ladder; it is built well and easy to install and remove.

I use an Avery Double Duty. Works fine for entering and exiting the boat but a little small as a hunting platform.

I hunt timber so I just hide the boat and wade to a tree and put up an old climber bottom on it and go at it.

When I used my boat all the time, I used an Avery DD.

Avery Double Duty works great in a boat. To attach it to a tree throw away the straps they send and buy bigger straps. Almost impossible to attach to tree with their small straps in the freezing cold.
