bad deal

bad deal

paid for a 2010 mercury 25 four stroke.just had it serviced turns out to be a 2008.also bought triton duck boat and trailer.from chucks marine in horn lake.i can not get no one at chucks.to make this right.what does someone do about this.i have the all the paper work.

The original message does not state that the motor was purchased from Chuck's. It can only be assumed that it was, based on the dis-satisfaction expressed.

Did Chuck's rig the boat with that motor, or was it a used rig they took on trade-in - and offered for sale without verifying the year make of the motor?

i bought it from chuck himself.they rigged the boat at chucks.i like the triton boat but didnt like getting a2008 motor when i paid for 2010.

I would speak to a lawyer. That is the only real way to get this cleared up.

I would talk to the dealership before getting a lawyer. Most likely you can get this handled all on your own withoug dragging a lawyer in it.

done talked.will be talking to my lawyer this week.i hate to have to do that.but also hate getting lied to.should not have paid up front.till everything was put on boat.had to wait two weeks for t.m. and outboard.

Its one thing to have an unsatisfied customer now and then, but when every other person I know has had a problem with that place, well I think that's called a pattern.

Thats pretty darn sorry! Hope you are able to get it worked out without paying too much to the lawyers, that or I hope Chuck pays all the lawyers fees.
