Ducks Unlimited or Delta Waterfowl?

What do yall think is a better conservation organization.. Ducks Unlimited or Delta Waterfowl?? I know what ducks unlimited is like but i was just wondering what delta waterfowl is like and which one you prefer.

To Open: Start a new topic on a duck hunting website related to one or more of the following: Du vs DW, where are the ducks, migration pattern changes, Robo-ducks, 5:00am boat launch, Hunt test vs Field trials, British lab vs American lab, Honda vs any other 4-wheeler make, or any other topic that may evoke strong differences of opinion between conversating duck hunters.

Oh boy, here we go again! The ol' DU-vs-DW debate continues. I personally think Delta Waterfowl is doing more to put more ducks in the fall flight. DU's habitat based efforts alone is not enough. I like DW's stance on predator management. DU want touch it even though research has shown the benefits of predator management on the high density nesting areas.

Just messin' with ya. I am a member of both, although I lean more towards Delta Waterfowl (cooler logos :shock:

, j/k). I support both and think they are both beneficial to the duck population, although it seems DU is more political and seems more worried about their image than the ducks sometimes.

Not a problem man. It is bound to come up at some point again too. That issue kinda ruffled a few feathers around here. :shock:

Alot of us have just kinda got tired of fighting those issues right now being that it is the off season. Just kinda want to shoot the S*@T and hang out. :lol:

Hey Greenhead Z71, don't worry about what some of these other bouys are saying. It's true that this topic has been beat to ever livin' death, but it's good to stir this up every once in a while to get the blood boiling. I think that's what this here forum is for. I think both organizations are great and we should support both.

I am a member of DU. I think DU has gotten to political and i heard that what they say they are doing with our money, they arent really doing it but i think i am gonna drop my membership with DU and go with DW!
