Training Trauma Drama

Postby Adonika » Thu Aug 05, 2010 7:34 am

Interesting photos of work having to be done to fix a dog's teeth after being broken during training before I got him. Too many photos to upload here, so put them on webshots. I am hoping that this will help fix some of the issues we have had. Heaven knows how that dog still had the heart to go when every water entry hurt those exposed nerves. Perhaps it is my good luck that he wasn't very highly thought of. Now that sweet boy is mine. He should be ready to join in on the Southern Flight Jr Handler event again this year if he's welcome.

Will your pup have a gold tooth to display at the next hunt test? With the impressions I was guessing a root canal and crown.

He's a two-sided heeling dog (read: both sides were broken) and no. I seriously thought about having silver (part silver lab??? LOL) with a mallards engraved on each side but I thought you guys would never let me live it down.
