Shotgun Shells

Postby bustercat64 » Mon Jul 26, 2010 2:04 pm

I am looking for a new place to buy my shells form, I do alot of dove hunting and looking for the best shell for the best price. I have been using Rio for the last couple of years and like them the best of all but place I bought them is going out of busniess.

http://www.rogerssportinggoods.com

They have free shipping on some of their shotgun shells. There are some good deals of duck loads (Federal & Fiocchi) also.

www.ableammo.com

Able Ammo carries some Rio shell but most are out of stock. They do have 2& 3/4, 1& 1/4oz loads for around $70 per case.

I love rio's, both steel and lead. However, the powder burn stinks BAD !!!

Wally World and BPS can't touch Roger's prices, even with shipping included.

Supplier just outside Tupelo has Rio's 3-3/4 by 1-1/4 for $80 a case. Best deal I've found.

I wondered about the RIO steel shot. I saw some at the US Open skeet shoot and have been considering picking up a case of 3" #4's to use in the woods this year.

Roger's Truload Sale link: http://store.rogerssportinggoods.com/do ... d-Sale.pdf

Able is out of all Rio steel from what I could tell. :(

I found some for a good price on Nathezss.com but they want $25 shipping charge per case, when I get cases of 3.5's shipped any day for $10.
