Anyone Seen a Boat Like This?
It was about 8 feet long, maybe 10. Had a 30 hp Nissan outboard. A seat. Rocket launchers (rod holders). It essentially looked like kids training skis with an outboard and a seat attached.

think there was a post on here at one time about them. not sure when but seems it was a while back. had some video clips along with it. seems liked a cool boat but not one i would buy

jeff, you are way off, aquapod is a layout.
They are called craigcats. I have actually heard from reputable sources that they are very seaworthy. After a few trips around the virgin islands in a hobie cat that would have you north MS boys chitlin your pants and praying to the baptist master, I beleive a completely sealed wide short cat hull will handle anything you throw at it.

There are several plans in the link if you want to build your own death-trap/duck whacker. They were all the rage in the 1960s.

Re: Anyone Seen a Boat Like This?
that is a craig cat. They are suprisingly stable. I have a friend that sold them for a while. Many of them are powered by large trolling motors, the idea was tomake something that was quick that could be used in residentual (electric motor only) fishing and recreation ponds. I have never ridden one with a gas motor like that one though.
