I have been out of touch. I am terribly sorry to hear this sad news. Prayers and thoughts to his family.

Wow I have been out of town all week and missed this all together. I am just finding out tonight (Sunday). I am truly sorry to hear about him passing away. He really wanted to come down and rabbit hunt down here with me, and we never could get it together. My prayers are with the entire family, normally when I think of something being taken too quickly, I think of dogs, not people. However I will now definetly put David in that category. Enjoy every day you have thats for sure.

Dang just now seeing this. I only met David one time on one of the goose hunts. Super nice guy and a pretty good hunter too.
I am sure that he will be missed. Prayers are being sent.

Somehow I missed it until just now. Absolutely terrible news. Hate to hear about things like this.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

Some of you Yazoo boys or those who knew David and Heather well...
I was talking to my wife about this and she asked if David and Heather were old time Yazooans. I remember someone with his last name as a teacher once, but I did not know Heather's maiden name. Are their families from Yazoo? What did David do for a living? Where did they go to church. These questions are for my wife..you know how women want to know the details.

And, Heather, if you read this...just know that a couple of old Yazoo folks are praying for you guys. My wife, Ann, and I hope to meet you when we come back for our 40th high school reunion this June. Take care.

Crow, the Spiars were indeed old time Yazooans. I knew the family when David was a kid. His dad's name was Pete. He has two sisters and I was a friend of one of the girls while in high school. I remember going over to their house to visit and "Davy", as the girls called him, was your typical mischevious little brother.
I recognized David on this board, but never made any contact with him or his family. I remember his parents were great people and always made me feel welcome in their home.
Life is so short.
May God bless his wife and son during the days ahead.
