Just got the phone with CS and they are aware of the situation now and will be investigating the situation. They also told me to keep in contact with them and they will also phone by and email to see what the outcome is to the phones. They told me to tell everyone that is have the same problem to call in and reportt the problem so they will be aware that this is not a localized issue and is widespread. There may have been somethng wrong with the shipment and they are contacting HTC about the issue.Per CS

All phone makers use the same thing, so it's not just HTC. :? :?

Most phone batteries have the same sticker on the battery itself. I would also look there to see if it is activated. I do not have a HTC so I can not verify that the battery on those has one for sure though.

The little sticker on the hero phone comes red with a little white in the background. It just turns darker red once it gets wet. It's kinda hard to tell a difference unless u can compare to one that has been wet and changed

Current and past several Motorolas all showed red but were never wet.

Think its a possibility they're coming from the store red so they won't have do any warranty exchanges on them??? Its kind of odd this many people are having red from dry phones
