If I were down there and I found abandoned decoys, they would be mine and would be put on ebay. I hate lazy booty folks.

The way I look at it is, if they are left out on public property, then they are anybodys that want them. Some idiots do that in a way of claiming a hole. If i beat you there then its my hole for the day and thanks for puttin some decoys out for me to hunt over.

Ya gotta be careful on Whittington though those could belong to a member of Merigold hunting club or Catfish Point and alot of that slack water is on club property, just saying be careful who you pop off to in the back water over there. But if that is not the case I agree they should be picked up. Before long if the outing club Catfish and Merigold have there way you will have to be a member of one of the clubs to gain access to the lake anyway.
Damn, i thought I had that one

Blaze orange/fluorescent yellow spray paint is a great "fix" to decoys left out overnight. Scissors work pretty well too.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

If you can get there by boat on Lake Whittington, you can hunt it legally at the current river stage. I dont hunt over there anymore cause there are a few that hunt over there everyday that think they own the lake, just like I dont crappie fish off the dock b/c the ones that fish it everyday think they own it too. I just choose not to have to deal with any hassle up who thinks this hole belongs to them and all that BS. How is the restaurant coming at the outing club I havent been over there since about October?

No the middle grounds are owned by Caulk Island I am pretty sure.

Stateline Lake is also private owned on one side by Cauk Island and the other by Catfish but I dont think they are real strict bout it.

No they arent strict about Stateline or really anywhere on them as long as you arent out of your boat standing on the bank. The dam on Stateline is technically a road to get to the other side of the lake or it would not be legal for them to dam off public waters....at least that is my understanding. The people at Caulk that I know or have talked to at the lake seem to be nice easygoing people as long as you are abiding by the law.
