Bush didn't win last time, what makes you so sure he will win this time?

I thought it was determined in the final count that Pres. Bush did win the popular vote...but there probably won't ever be definitive evidence to convince the whole country one way or the other. The thing that is so great about this country is that we can actually survive an event like that without totally polarizing the nation. I know that some people would complain no matter who won but i thank God that we live in a country that we do have the right to chose
I don't have much of an opinon, but I was reminded of this recently. I figure that Bush will win this election easily. However, after the first Gulf War we were all pretty sure that Bush would win reelection as well...and he was soundly defeated.
I don't know which way this one will go...its amazingly polarized. You either love Bush or hate him, no middle ground that I can see.
