I am with ya on the banning of spinners. I also feel that they have outlived their usefullness, just as benny stated in a seperate thread the birds will be attracted and then flare at the constant pattern. If they were banned it would cause those that are still hanging on to them becasue the worked for one season or two to let them go. Hell our neighbors in AR used one this year everyday of the season rain, no rain, cloudy or sun shine. Just can't seem to let go........... I'm just tired of seeing the darn things!

I do not have any spinning decoys, but just because we do not like something does not mean that it should be outlawed.
I do not like that every two months someone starts a new thread of DU vs DW, I do not like it when Sally Joe Joe is driving through the Wal-Mart parking lot in her Super King Size Poppa Joe Joe XXXXXL suburban and can't turn it around the corners or park it without holding up traffic for an hour, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they should be outlawed.

I gotta say that I have seen results with them. I hunt in Arkansas and I have worked ducks in and out of decoys with calls without mojo and with mojo. If you use the Mojo right then it is to your advantage! There is no need for 20 mojos in your spread! I generally have one in the spread facing into the wind and leaned back so it doesnt look like its nose diving or anything. I have hunted with people that have jacked up the Mojo so bad that it does flare ducks but they can be helpful. I get a kick out of the guys that have 10 in their spread and 5 wobblers and feeding frenzys. Heck it just helps to have one thing with motion. I don't like dealing with a jerk string so the Mojo does it for me

Proud owner of a 3/4 Ton XXL Suburban turbo diesel / 33 inch tires (I need it to haul all my hunting stuff) this is NOT a soccer mom truck ! The ONLY thing i dont like is the 42 gallon fuel tank !!
and proud owner of a couple of spinners, lots of duck calls, decoys and other stuff, like face masks, camo, etc etc that give me an Unfair ?? LOL advantage over my quarry !
Compared to the sure enough Live Decoys used by Nash Buckingham, et all at the turn of the century, WE DONT HAVE A PRAYER !

"DUCK HANDGRABBING"
no more spending all this money on technology...
make your own decoys outta vines and straw and wood
"DUCK HANDGRABBING"
no more spending all this money on technology...
make your own decoys outta vines and straw and wood
And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground-everything that has the breath of life in it, they will be your food.
