Last minute deer hunt?

Postby Click » Fri Oct 09, 2009 10:12 am

If you were trying to put a last minute out of state bow hunt together where would you go for P&Y? Any ideas? Anyone know any landowners who would lease for a week in one of the states?

I'm pretty sure you could go to S TX and get on something pretty easily. Their cull bucks generally will make P & Y...and don't cost too much.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

over the counter tags in Ohio. Licking or Muskingum counties would be your best bet for P&Y or B&C class deer.

Not bad crowded, a good friend of mine has been going every year for 10-12 years. Hunts public CRP land and they come back with at least one 160"+ deer every year.
