Live updates

Postby LawDawg » Thu Oct 01, 2009 3:51 pm

This may take off or it may not, but if yall are like me, i get bored in the stand sometimes and like to text. This is the next best thing. Maybe this will help pattern deer feeding times, so my idea is that if you can, do some live updates from the stand throughout the year. I just sat down on my white oak stand so if I see something, I will post up. Yall do the same if you feel so inclined.

I just saw a guy walk by the window at the office. Didn't get a good enough look to tell if he was a shooter

I texted my buddy about an hour or two ago. He lives in IL and Bow season just opened up there also. Half jokingly I asked him if he had killed a deer yet? a minute later i get a text that says " Actually Ya... about 5 minutes ago, i think it might be my biggest buck yet, high 140s to mid 150s." I thought well damn that was fast. He called me a little bit ago and said when he got my text he hadnt even sat down from taking the shot yet....he was still replaying it in his head.....Just thought it was kind of ironic...

7-10 gobblers under my stand when I sat down. Already a good day

i guess I am camped good. Just had a hawk land 6 inches from me. Scared me to death.

Went in at 5:45pm to get my camera out and two fawns almost took me out. Mom stayed out about 20 yds. Yesterday I saw 2 does at 7:05 in the morn. Most of my pics showed them moving from 10 in the morn until about 1pm.
