things to do in February

time to plan ahead...

time to fertilize fruit and nut trees, including persimmon for you early season bow hunters.... also saw-tooth oaks and other oak trees...

establish mineral licks for game this summer when it gets hot.... let the winter rain melt the minerals into the ground

apply 0-0-20 fertilizer to clover plots for fast spring growth

appy lime to neutralize soil and rid sage grass

clean up all your duck gear so you will be ready next year

plant onions and caggage plants after the 15th...


have i left out anything ? i'm sure i have..... fill us in....

Clean out the garage, fix junk around the house, clean up the yard, wash the truck and many other "fun" things...

Get the crappie poles ready,Arkabutla may not have had much water this duck season, but the crappie are still there.
