Hunted about 50 miles north of there monday and tuesday and there were ducks. Only problem is they were not moving much. Shoot and thye fly down to the next spot. Was on a high $ farm managed for ducks. Didn't here a lot of shooting going on in other spots. Drove from there to Bentonia and saw some on every catfish pond. Even saw a canvas back. Hunted Tues. evening in Belzoni and killed 4 (1 hen and 3 gads). I hope there are some still up there cause I am leaving in the AM to go to Scott for a couple hunts.

Hunted the area Tues and Wed. Didn't have much luck (killed 3 in 2 days). You will find hot spots every once in a while (we saw a couple of fields with 50-100), but we just don't have the duck numbers right now. The few folks that I know that are killing decent number of ducks are staying very mobile and never hunting the same spot twice. I doubt many people are killing 3-4 man limits every morning out of 1 or 2 holes. I am having my doubts if we will even see the ducks before the end of the month. Weather forecast isn't looking good.

Saw a fair number of early flight ducks in the south delta Friday afternoon. Had a fair hunt Sat and a less than mediocre hunt Sun. It should get good this week though. Weather up north looks like it may finally run some this way.

Hunted the North Delta this weekend with no luck. Killed one woodie. The ducks I seen wouldn't work and didn't like my spread. They would fly over and check me out and then go out. I seen a few more birds this hunt than I did last weekend, but they were sky high and going South. Not enough to get overly excited about.
