i have the pearl, my wife has the world. I like the size and the keyboard on the pearl more than the individual keys and widyh of the world. The world has more features such as navigation but thats what tom tom is for

Get a curve but make sure you get the otter box cover for it.It will protect it when you drop it and kick it around.

I have only had the pearl. I had two because the first one was a piece of junk. I thought it was just a fluke. It wasn't. I wouldn't ever recommend the pearl. Just my 2cents

the phone at the bottom of the lake is a pearl.. I think i am going with the pearl because of the camera and expandable memory. i believe the curve and world cant accept memory chips( but i could be wrong)..
most of the pictures of my pup came off my phones camera and i dont own any other type..
pearl has GPS and all that good stuff as well

Curve all the way...once you have the full keyboard, you'll never want to go back to the old kind ever again. curve accepts memory cards also. From what I was told, (and could be misinformed) the curve is alot tougher than the pearl. That's what sold me on it. I tear so many phones up and I need the toughest one. I haven't had any trouble out of mine for the 6 months I've had it.

I hope you had insurance on that phone because you'll be looking at a good hunk of change for early termination of your old contract and new phone activation.

No insurance but all I had to pay was the price of the phone, not the full price. I got the pearl for 149 with a 50 dollar rebate. I was eligible for upgrades. That helped. They did charge me the 20 bucks for not having a phone to turn in. I've never understood that. I pay for the phone, its my phone, and the charge me $20 bucks because I don't turn it in.

Did you do this online or in-store? I was due for an upgrade also but was charged $60 for early activation. Also, if I lose this new phone I'll have to pay $360 for termination of the new contract. They did away with my frequent upgrade plan, thus the fine print on the fees. They'll usually give you a $20 credit for turning in the phone, not the other way around.
