Cleaning a dog's teeth?

My dog doesn't really chew on anything other than her food. If I give her a rawhide she'll just leave it laying there. I've brushed them a few times and they do look much better than they did, but there is still some buildup in places I can't seem to get the tooth brush on.

I lay him in the floor and my wife (another dental hygenist) cleans them. not much build up on my female...
