Benelli Nova help? Broke my gun...

I was cleaning my gun last night, and was using a tooth brush to clean out the chamber slides. Next thing I know those two pieces popped out. I know where spring slid thing goes, but where the heck does this pin/dowel go? I may need to send it back to Benelli or find a gun smith, but I thought one of you guys may have had this happen.

Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.

There should be a website with the breakdown details. I know Beretta has them. Google Benelli Nova owners manual

Yea, I checked the internet, haven't come across anything yet, with a diagram with this part showing.

thanks, i got that one, i need one with further breakdown. How do I go about sending it back, or anyone know a good gun smith in North MS.

Ed sanders gun shop in west point is really good. I know how to put that part back in but just can't put it in words. I bet any good gun shop there can fix it. It's not broke.

Boy, If you caint shoot it, break it down, and clean it and then put ot back together, then you ought not have it!!!!!!!!!!!!Or you could always have your Daddy do it for you like the other topwaters!!!!
