need help with waders
I am trying to find a web site that sells Lacrosse waders for wholesale or just a cheaper place to buy them... my parents are going to get them for me as a christmas present and i don't want them to have to spend an arm and a leg on them. any help would be great. thanks

Best bet is Ebay....every other store will sell them for about the same price.

Always check SierraTradingPost.com, too. They sell closeouts at really good prices.

Does it have to be those kind of Waders? I wear the Itaska waders and you can buy them at Surplus City. $160 for 5mm 1400 Gram Boots and they last a long time. I just got a leak in mine after 5 years of hunting.

you probably won't, I'm 6'3" 260 and mine are too short in the inseam, but I got 'em and gotta wear em out before I will get some more. next time I'll try them on in the store and not in the slough. may be a while, they're pretty tuff.
Re: need help with waders
My last two pair of Lacrosse wader wear leaking in less than a month i would try a different brand.

if you're stroking the check and $$$ matter, look on the Gander Mountain website.
you can get a nice pair of 3.5mm neoprene with 600 gram thinsulate in the boots for $85.
Great waders for the $$$

Re: need help with waders
I've been hearing about problems with the lacross. My itasca's have separated in the seam and that cold shot of water up that crack of my butt
is not what i'm looking for at 5:30 in the morning. Tried a patch, but just hasn't held. After 3-4 years they just ain't doing it anymore.I'm not into the gotta wear a certain brand, don't want to spend a fortune, but i want a good pair. Suggestions?

I've never had any problems with My Itaska's are you sure you didn't get a bad pair. That could really happen to any of the other brands to.

I can handle a leak, cause they leaked all year last year, but that it was running in like someone had stuck a water hose in my waders.
