And rig it like a fishing jug, catch a catfish, and have a "motorized" shaker bottle!

I still use them. We dip them in asphalt sealer. Some are solid black and others have a little white sprayed on the opposite end of the bottle (opposite from the cap that is). There is not a decoy on the market that will move like those bottles in little to no wind. They are excellent for visibility!

I had a yankee friedn one time that moved down here to work at one of the Nissan suppliers. Always coming up with hair brained ideas. One year, we were hunting up the Pearl and he got an idea of using a decoy like a jug and trying to catch some catfish while we hunted. Ended up catching his waders with a hook and ripping 'em. Pretty funny guy.
Same guy I was with when I sunk my duck boat on the big water.

I remember keeping those shells in the pickup over the week and getting My butt whooped by the old Man on Saturday morning. The excuse but daddy they was in the toolbox did not help.

I found a suitcase full of western auto number 5's about 5 years ago cleaning out My Mom and Dads house. I was really tempted to take them duck hunting...Lead 5's where the bomb
