I think you guys named pretty much every kid from MS who left and did well, although I think you went back further than 10 years.

It seems that MS loses about 2-3 of the top 20 players in the state every year to out of state programs. But, this does seem to be a downward trend. There used to be way more MS players on the rosters of Alabama, Auburn, and LSU 10 + years ago. It is not that way anymore.

Po Monkey, I agree MS use to be a real hot bed for Alabama recruiting 10 years or so ago, still get a few good players out of MS each year just not as many. It could be the fact that Croom and O did a better job of recruiting the state or it could be the fact when Alabama was hit with sanctions and has been down, they concentrated on getting more in-state kids who knows. But now with Saban there they are pulling kids from Florida, Georgia, Tenn, and even Michigan and Ohio as well as winning the state of Alabama and are not relying on MS like they use to.
