We had plenty of water, but they just didn't want to work.

I managed a woodie limit and laid a spike down on the way out.

I love the liberal limits on woodies. 12 woodies with no possession limit is great.

They were on O2 all mornin. Kinda call shy.

Managed 6 hollywoods, 4 pintails, and a red cockaded woodpecker. Should be right Saturday with temps in the low 30s.

we ended up with 2 ivory billed woodpeckers, 6 black ducks, 2 limits of pintails (12), and a limit of hens (6). not bad for 4 people. the greenheads didnt show up. I guess we shot them out last week when 6 of us got 36 of them.

Best hunt of the month TODAY...... 9 beers, 1 deer, 1 turkey shot w/ bow of course, some ducks but I did not know what they were.....want and waste, and a banded Spotted Owl. Owl worked perfect over the ducks I was leaving on the water. All before 8:30am. Did not see one person at the refuge hunting all day.
