Bachelor Party Delima
Ok guys. We are trying to get one of my buddies bachelor party together. Most of us went to Delta State and we have chosen Cleveland as the "central meeting loacation" for the night before. We WERE going to meet in Cleveland on Friday Night. Spend the night and wake up early that morning and head to Tunica to shoot most of the day. Then depart from Tunica and go to Memphis and get a hotel and hang out on Beale all night.
That being said, we go to book rooms today and a mojority of them are booked. We call around and finally figure out that that weekend is the 30th anniversary of MLK's killing and all the jigs are planning on some type of Civil Rights BS. We really don't want to spend the night in Memphis with a bunch of jigs on Beale Street.
Now we are trying to find an alternative. We don't want to do the whole get trashed and get a bunch of strippers thing because several of the guys are married and respect their wives. We are just wanting to do what we have always done. Spend the weekend hanging out, shooting something (clays or alive), maybe a cabin somewhere to have a campfire and just have a "guys weekend". We possibly could do the "go out to a bar thing" but this is who we are.
With Memphis and Jackson(several of us live in Jackson) being out of the question, what could we do? Does anybody have any suggestions? Fishing, hunting, anything?
Thanks

call miles and see if hes got and cabins available. this is exactly what you described you wanted to do. and not that bad of a drive up
we usually get the bunk lodge if theirs abunch or us going. i think it will sleep like 10-12.

I agree with olemissduckhunter on his answer. That would be everything you want. Shooting something im sure you can find a camp fire to sit around and have a few cold ones and just hanging out.

Get an overnight blue water charter up. Stay at a little hotel and get tore up the day you get off the boat then drive home the following day.

One of the best trips was to norfork trout dock. 13 of us went and brought nothing but beer and food. We rented everything, boats, rod and reels. Charged all the bait and ice to the rooms. Total bill for 3 days and 2 nights was $1200. $100 per man, bachelor didn't pay. Caught the hell outta some trout too. Oh yeah, the cabin held 30 people and had a balcony overlooking the mouth of the norfork river where it dumped into the white. Good times, good times.
Why is my mouth so dry this morning, when I drank so much last night?

i respect my wife too but strippers are an integral part of a bachelor party... jk the new orleans deal is your best alternative.... you wont be short of things to do in the big easy... good food, good drink, good music, and if you get real disrespectful they got some good pole climbers.

man, coming to new orleans would be your best bet. we have a great shooting place just across the lake, and we have the BEST fishing around. a lot of my friends have done a weekend offshore trip for the bachelor weekends and it's always been a blast. pm me if you want any info, but it's the best way to go. plus you could always go out here.
