Have both as well but NEVER use IE since we downloaded Firefox. IE has way too many pop ups and backdoors for virus, spam, etc. that Firefox doesn't have.

What about the spywear and virus protector and pop up blocker I am runnign with IE will it run with FF also

You don't need it with Firefox except for the AV

I use firefox for the most part. If I need to work on my router or do some ftp transfers I use IE but I like the functionality of firefox more than IE.

i heard IE lets viruses in...may not be true but i use firefox anyway

i use firefox and uninstalled IE... dont use anything over IE v5.. IE v7 has less protection than the US border patrol.. i am considering going to a Linux system.. i just hate Microcrap.. sorry Microsoft.. cant stand Vista.. memory hog.. sorry for the rant on MS..
