Ya need a good spotlight, lots of "skeeter dope", and a warm night. The dangers include ( from my 25 years of chasing frogs..in order of fear factor): Saskwatches, copperheaded water rattlers, rabid beavers, gar larger than your boat, and the mistake of using the battery out of your car to power the light. A tip I picked up years ago, take two coolers... one for your beverages and another for the frogs. #1 it cuts down on frog slime on your coke, and not much short of a skunk is worse than delta, stinky, gummy, sticky, big ol rabbit sized frog slime. #2 If you aren't sure you are gonna have enough frogs for a "mess", a bag or two of ice in the second cooler will allow you to chill the frogs into submission in case you want to catch and release. We usually hunt frogs from a boat, no need for a gig if you want to grab em. Have fun.
Please Dawgs win one.

Need two people one to drive the boat and hold the spot light and a fool to sit on the front and grab.
Dangers are.
1. Drunk buddy running your butt into a next of snakes, hollering grab em , grab em
2. You Drunk buddy running you into a bank at 20 miles an hour and laughing his booty off when you go flying out the front from the sudden stop.
3. Of course the grabbing the snake or gator is a big no no.
4. allowing your trunk buddy to come on the trip period.
All above advise is given from first hand knowledge at no cost. Use it as you will.
