Story on the Broke Spoke and Favre

Postby coonman » Wed Jan 23, 2008 8:09 pm

I can remember my senior year of High School in the Kiln. Packers made the super bowl and it was in NEw Orleans. Man was our little town in south Mississippi packed, it was crazy. I went to the spoke for the super bowl, people were scattered everywhere. If you have ever been to the Kiln at that time it was only a caution light and 2 quick stops. There was people parked for miles down hwy 603. We had a blast.

with the Kiln, Diamondhead, and beyond there are more people living north of I-10 than south, and most of the county politicians are trying to move everything up out of the Bay.. Katrina still changing Hancock County. Funny thing is the Kiln used to be the the counties bustling metropolis 75 yrs ago when the timber industry was booming, had more up there on them four corners (kiln Delisle / 603) back then than they do today...
