Will John Martin "Chocolate Seal" funeral

Postby Black Lab 48 » Fri Jan 11, 2008 10:39 am

I knew Will John and know his brother-in-law very well. We all grew up in Indianola. I showed his bro-in-law the thread about him last night and he asked if I could print it out to show the family. The family was very thankfull to hear all the kind words being said about WJ (Chocolate Seal). Please pray for the family especially the father who is pretty torn up. The funeral is Sat at 10 am at Indianola's First Baptist Church. Visitation is at the church and starts at 9 before the funeral. For those attending, the church is on the corner of Percy and Catchings in downtown Indianola. Turn South on Catchings off of Hwy 82 and the church is down on your left.

BY FAR the best funeral I have ever been to. My fiancee both thought the same thing.

I know that is just the most odd thing in the world to say, but true.
The two pastors, one of which was a relative of Will John's, made it a very thought provoking listen. I am not going to get into details, it just made since of the situation. Not what I expected.

I printed out the full post from the waterfowl forum and to give to the family and pntailhntr's post was quoted in the service.

Again my thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
I am truly sorry for their loss.
And ours.
