Warning to all coast boaters......

Unless you want to have a .30 caliber machine gun pointed at your head and be boarded by unpleasant men with M16's, STAY OUT of the area between the east side of the causeway to Singing River Island, and the west side of the channel of the East Pascagoula River. This is basically the area between Ingalls and the homeport. I have been fishing in that area for years, but thanks to the terrorists it is now OFF LIMITS, and lemme tell you they are SERIOUS. Almost cost me $10K and prison time for wandering in there.

hey Gulf, did they have the area marked or is everyone just suppose to know.... sounds serios to me.... i just returned from NY and Washinton and they mean business there also.. scary to see fighter jets flying over the Capitol.. hey, fishing ain't suppose to be that dangerous...ha....

GC do you live in Biloxi or just work there? I see you talk about Pas. alot. My cousin had the same thing happen to him last week. Said they came after him in a Whaler with twin 225's and in a R.I.B. He said all of the guys were in BDU's and carrying M-16's. He said the guys were really nice and cordial, but like you said they were damn serious.

There are no signs posted, but one of the guys told my cuz' that they had sent out notices to all of the marinas (bs!) and put out a notice over the mariners broadcast system. I say b.s. because my family owns a seafood marine/wholsale business.

Anyway I'm glad to know that our area is being secured also.

GC, did you read the article in the Sun Herald about the arabs wanting to charter a couple of boats? May this **** is getting awful thick even here.

I live in p'goula, and work in Biloxvegas.

There was not a darn thing marked off anywhere. They claimed that there was a banner on the causeway, but there was none to be seen. We were just motoring through navigible water when all hell broke loose. I have been told by guys at Ingalls that the seal team from Stennis has been visiting, so they are REAL serious about protecting the Cole, etc.
