Ground Force or Finisher?

Postby greenheadgrimreaper » Thu Nov 08, 2007 11:17 pm

I am bout to buy a layout and have it narrowed down to these two. I haven't seen many bad things about these and with a neo tub they will fit me perfect. WHich is more roomy? I am leaning towards a finisher but still really can't decide. What are the pros and cons of each?

I have the GF and like it better b/c it folds up smaller. If you're using the neotub though I don't think it matters b.c my blind won't allow you to use the backpack straps with the tub on.

Couldn't tell you about the GF blind, never been in one, but the finisher works really well with the neotub. My advice whichever you decide, is to buy the shadowgrass tub instead of the field khaki tub. The fk tub is dark dark brown. The tub will cover all but the top of the blind, and after mudding and camoing both the tub and the top of the blind, you'll be set.

This is the only pic I have of my tub. It's got the leg/foot area folded underneath the frame of the blind for transportation. I throw some decoys in the blind to keep it from bouncing around. The ramp on my trailer holds it on the trailer. I used the killerweed camo on this blind.

These pics are from a buddy of mine. I've hunted out one of his finishers before I bought mine. I got the field khaki finisher w/shadow grass tub. The finishers in these pics are SG w/SG tubs.

I have a Ground Force and have hunted out of the finisher. I will pick the ground force anyday over the finisher. the ground force is easy to setup and foldup. the only good thing about the finisher is that the laydown area is alot more open than the ground force. But the ground force is a lower profile blind.

I want to sell mine, but I just can't justify buying a Ground Force right now.
