We are Marshall is a good guy/gal movie too. It's sports related and about the plane crash that took out a large portion of the Marshall U football team back at that time.

I was actually watching this with my chick last night. She hates guy movies, but loved it. It is a good one for either to enjoy.

The Long Engagement.
WWI love story. Got shootin, stuff blowin up, a love story for the girls, and a little nudity for the guys. It is a french film so it has subtitles which I usualy hate but the movie is so interesting you get over it.

I saw 300 was mentioned, I was really disappointed in that movie. I wanted to see it in the theater, but now glad I didn't spend the money on it. The fight scenes aren't what I remember the previews to be. Of course, most previews aren't in the actual movie to being with.

Shooter was a great movie with Mark Walburg (sp?).

I loved 300. It was a 100x better in theatres than on video too! I still bought it because it was so good. My friend had an anxiety attack at the theatres because that movie was so intense. Makes you want to go get a Malon Labe tatoo!

wow.

and I'm just the opposite, I found the fight scenes to be very "movieish" and unrealistic. Not impressed with it at all. I would give it a two thumbs down rating.

It was a "good" movie, I liked the fact that they had all the different countries and it reminded me of playing Civilization. I guess to me the fight scenes just looked to created and fake to me. Particularly one part toward the end where they did a slow motion scene, that just slowed the movie so much to make it look even more fake.

Not sure if yall have seen this one and it's another older movie and I forgot the name of it, but it's with Cuba Gooding Jr. and it's based on a true story of when a guy was a military diver going to the academy and how hard it was for him and also he lost a leg and he had to go on trial to get reinstated.

Now THAT was a great movie.
