Got a swift on my musket and it fogs up constantly. Left it in my truck when it rained one night and didn't unfog(sp?) for 6 hours. Sat in the stand though, just glad daddy war d!ck didn't come by.
Why is my mouth so dry this morning, when I drank so much last night?

In my opinion, Swarovski is inferrior to NF. If I didn't get a NF, I would look at the USoptics or Scmidt & Benders. Light gathering ability in NF is excellent.

ya'll are crazy. I can kill and shoot just as good with a $100-300 scope as you can with $1000+ scope. Thats just like this guy at Hadads couple weeks ago trying out scopes on his rifle. Saying they just don't LOOK good.I would like to see ya'lls faces when that guns falls off the wheeler, off the stands or your shoulder and gets damaged. Then you try and send it back they tell ya that is not a manufacturers defect.Hell i can out fit several rifles for the $ of one of them.

BigDawg-

The thing is, My custom GAP 300 WSM mounted with a NF Tact. scope is What I want. Same goes for my custom GAP 7mm Short Mag. mounted with the same scope. This is what I want. I have dropped both guns and the best part about it is, with badger rings and bases, nothing happens other than get a little dirty. As far as shooting deer or any other game, you are right, we will both kill them, Even with your little $300 scope as you said. This difference is I can kill them a hell of a lot farther out. Also, I like to shoot. It is fun to me. And we are trying to reach out eventually to 1500 or even 2000 yds. And the reason for this......purely for s*#ts and giggles. We could have this same conversation about my Mathews Drenalin bow, my Titelist golf clubs, trucks, cars, hell even watches if we want to. But bottom line with me is; I have these items A)because I want them, and B) because I can. Not being rude, but if they get broke, well hell, I guess i will have to repair it or replace it.

Thats cool if ya can afford it. As for shooting distance last long shot i made was with the browning boss .270 w/ Tasco World Class 453yds dropped in the tracks. But like you said its what ya want and can afford.Me ,i'll feel bad taking something like that to the fields knowing my luck. Just like when an ex bought me a Citori made her take it back and buy me a 870 and acolumbis 4-1. Just could not make myself fup such a pretty gun. BUT i hear what your saying and also was not trying to be rude.
