I would suggest you talk to a couple of folks first:

http://www.brackenfen.com -Tom Hamilton in Saucier, MS breeds Brit dogs from his own FTC/FTW dogs in house, and is the only U.S. breeder/trainer I know of who lived, trained extensively, and titled his own dogs in the UK. He occasionally has a fox red breeding, but does not breed for color. Tell him Ellie Mae sent ya, and he will pay attention!

http://www.labsofgallman.com -Jeff Whitmore in Gallman, MS breeds Brit dogs from good lines, and American dogs, and has some good fox red dogs in house. Dunno if he breeds for red or not. He is on this board, PM him.

If they don't have any red dogs, I don't know this fellow, but he advertises British fox red dogs, and purports to have at least one FTC dog: http://www.dixiebrit.com/ He is in Alabama.

If he is looking at a dog from Bill Ketchkaylo at Wicklewood Hall, those are some of the best bred british line dogs in the US. Bill goes to the UK frequently to select his dogs. Long drive up there, though!

i must be missing something. where on here is wildrose getting blamed for anything. Cody got this dog from wildrose and it recently ran away and turned up dead. he has probably already checked with them for another one so thats why golfpro said that he already knows about them. where you came up with that i don't know.
If i couldn't hunt with my dog, then i wouldn't hunt at all.
