Your still only going to be able to use the jeep on private land .You could use it only on land that you own or on land in which the owner doesn't mind you riding a jeep on.

BTW You can buy used jeep or new jeeps just like you can buy used rangers or new rangers.

The $10K statement was assuming he was going for the new ranger instead of a jeep of equal value. in I figured if he was spending $10k on a ranger, he would likely spend $10k on a jeep as well.

Man, did not know this would bring that much discussion. I was not really asking if you thought I should buy it, just thought some would like to see something new coming out. I knew it would not be for everyone, but might be just what somebody had been looking for, like myself. If you like a jeep, buy a jeep. If you like a 4 wheeler, buy a 4 wheeler. If you like a ranger, buy a ranger. As for me, I'll take my F-250 where it will go, my 4 wheeler where it will go, and my new ranger in my flooded corn field to kill ducks. To each his own.

I agree 100% I guess some people just like to talk about stuff too much instead of doing it.

I;m just curious, why would you start a topic asking what people thought and then get upset about getting replies? This is a discussion forum.

well here is my 2Cents. I have had 4 jeeps in my life and i now own a 06 ranger. I know my ranger will go through more stuff than my jeep ever would. Sure you can spend alot of money on big tires, motor, lift etc. My experience with all of that is it is always tearing up. My ranger is stock and is light enough to go through alot of sh#t. I am sure that somebody has a jeep that is better but I have experience with both. :D :D

KWAKED, I did not nor will I ever get upset over something on a message board. Just did not expect this much discussion over this topic. Posted it more as information on a new product. "What do yall think about this". Believe me when I say "to each his own". This board is great for entertainment but most of the time it is just that, entertainment.

this is essentially what I was going to post up first time I read this but was too lazy. I've got an old land cruiser w/ 3 inches of lift and big tires that will get back in the woods but will leave ruts 10 inches deep and make soup out of turnrows so a fourwheeler or ranger-type number is preferred. plus I'm a sorry mechanic and I can get a ranger worked on without somebody dog cussing me for darkening the door of their shop w/ my LC. as folks are saying, to each his own.
