Gulfcoast, sounds like your the authority on the subject...what do you recommend.

He's going to recommend Briley and Angleport extended chokes, Improved Cylinder and Light Modified. :lol:

Whichever you get make suere you loosen it after every hunt. I learned the hard way gona have to get me a new Briley my old one is in pieces.

Briley, Angleport or Carlson. Angleport is running a good sale right now. For duck hunting, SK1, IC or LM. You don't need anything tighter than LMod (gives a traditional IMod pattern with steel) and if your shooting in timber or over decoys, with steel or Hevi, SK1 or IC is more than plenty. With Hevishot, my guns pattern great at 35 yards with no choke at all.

Your regular old chokes that came with your gun may be fine, too. Only way to know is to pattern away. I suggest you stay with one load while tweaking your chokes out.

I'm shooting Briley in O/U and they are great...stock mod & IC in a SBEII..really don't see much difference in the two with 3in #2s...SBE takes a Ciro ?? choke...is this correct?

I got the Kicks high flyer ext. modified 2 years ago and I love it. It makes a big difference and adds about an inch and half to the length of my gun. I would recomend it.

Patternmaster just sent out a notice stating to not use their chokes in combination with Federal's Black Cloud shells..........not a good pair. :lol:
