got a great gift from an old timer...

an elder friend of mine in his early 70's whose son i hunt with regularly, talked of the old days and the handmade boats they used... quite interesting to say the least... i took him on a trip to the shack some time back and he said "you need one of them home-made boats" he called this morn and told me to come up, he had something for me.... you got it, a pirouge lookin boat, made of marine plywood... the thang is beautiful.... a little 8 footer for one man and a dog... a special thanks to Mr. Lawrence {catfish} Lowery... something i had always thought of, but had no clue where to start... will get ready for a camo paint job this week... will have to put his name on the front.... friends like that can never be repayed enough......

jb that sounds great. sounds like u have a heirloom that will be passed on to the next generation. hang on tight to friends like that and remember all the wonderful things that go along with it.
