dates are set and the clock is ticking. just wondering what yall think of the season dates. me myself like it. i am mostly a weekend hunter, so that means that i can hunt all of dec and jan. 2 whole months. got the calls out already, putting the final touches on. bring it on!!!!!

i am quite pleased with the dates they have set... will be really good for those who can only hunt week-ends... plus we get a little early jump which if last year will provide some shooting.. the canvasback dates may prove a challenge for these fading eyes, but we have very few fly my neighborhood... will probably let a bunch of ducks fly for fear of a wrong shot...haha... that will be another excuse for my list.... ready for it to get here... by the way, look me up sometimes when you are my way...

I just hope the weather cooperates. Needs to get cold enough at the right time to push them down to us, but not so dang cold that it makes an iceberg out of every piece of standing water.

I love that week between Christmas and New Years....not much travel, nobody's buying anything...great excuse to watch the sun come up and duck come down.
