the BEST duck gun and the one i choose to hunt with are two different guuns. i never could bring myself to put a fine gun thru the elements that i bring on during a duck season.... guess i got that from my grandma Bessie.. she saved all her good stuff for special occassions...

Well, If ya'll are going to take it to the limit. The best guns are made by Fabbri. Period. Then comes Lang, Purdey, H&H, and Rigby. Now if you want to talk about something you might actually shoot. As usual GC is correct...BERETTA....

Best duck hunting gun?
Winchester Model 12.

Second best duck hunting gun?
Remington Model 870.

Best way to stop a fancy auto from jamming?
Trade it in on a pump!

Well, this is tough so I'll break it into catergories.

O/U: Krieghoff (fits me the best).

Pump: Remington, the 870 is probably the best pump design ever.

Auto: Beretta, the Beretta is the best, and most reliable.

3 1/2" gun: Browning/Winchester, the Gold/SX2 is probably the second best auto on the market, and by far the best 3 1/2" gas auto (and I don't think I could shoot a box of 3 1/2's in a pump).
