I got a proposition fer y'all . Some of ya know Mike Novak , he's a young man that stumbled across me in a training field one day while out walkin his pup . We struck up a conversation and I learned that he was in the coast guard and stationed here from philly . Welp he's a duck hunter and wanted to train his little ( then ) 10 week old lab . Our little sattelite training group took him in and he and his pup were on a pretty good roll . In fact his little girl got the call on most every hunt we made this season . He ran our fall test and put his first started pass on his pup and was gonna join southern flight HRC til he learned that he got accepted into officer school and would soon be relocated again . So anyway officer school meant another round of boot camp and he left back in febuary and is due out in may . He ask me to spend a little time with his pup while he was gone so I go by and pick her up from his wife sometimes when I train . When he gets out of camp in may he will have just a very few days to get packed and relocated to where ever uncle sam sends him next , all he knows is it will be in the states .
Here's the deal , me and T-bone spoke last night and we've decided that I'm gonna put two more started passes on his little girl at SF next weekend . That'll leave him needin one for his title . And I guarantee he will drive from anywhere in the U.S. to be at our fall test to title that little girl
Now here's my question , does southern flight want to pony up two started entries as a way of saying thanks for serving ? It's gonna get done either way . He's chunked alotta birds for our training group and we'll come out of our pockets with the entry fees if need be .
Just thought it'd be a neat way to say thanks for doin what he does , and he's a good dude to boot
